...and the next thing you know there's a baby! in your house! all the time!
i'm really going to try to keep up with this blog again now that i'm a 'mom', which apparently means that you suddenly stop doing anything you previously considered 'productive' and begin a primitive sort of existence of feeding babies, changing babies and staring at babies! turns out that what i used to think was 'productive' was stupid and babies are awesome so there you go!
anyways, avery violet, the lovely, has a cold poor thing, so i'm trying to be quiet and help her sleep it better. while doing this i started listening to music online and remembered how much i love this song...its sad! another sad one! sheesh....i know you might be tempted to call me up in a fake cheery voice and suggest we go out and get some air and/or see a psychologist together, but i assure you i'm not depressed :):):) see?! no seriously- we have this on vinyl and it is about the prettiest thing to listen to EVER. and it doesn't necessarily have to be sad, it could be considered poignant!
